ในเนื้อหาบอกต่อมาว่าควรต้องมีการกรอก email สำรอง หรือ linked IDs ที่อยู่ใน options>account ไว้เผื่อมีอะไรจะสามารถใช้ email สำรองนี้ไปก่อน ผมเห็นว่าไม่จำเป็น เนื่องจากหากเรากรอก email ตัวนี้จะทำให้ hacker รู้ email เราเพิ่มขึ้น และหากเราใช้ password ตัวเดียวกับ email หลักจะโดน hack ไปด้วย สำหรับประโยชน์ของ email สำรองคือการรับข้อมูลที่เหมือนกันกับ email หลักนั่นเองเสมือนเป็น email สำหรับ backup แต่จะไม่ได้ทุกฉบับเสมอไป และเราอาจต้องเสียเวลาส่ง email และ fw ไปยังตัวสำรองอีก ซึ่งทำให้เสียเวลา

วิธีที่ง่ายที่สุดในการป้องกันคือ ทุกครั้งหลังการใช้ email ให้ logout ออกจากระบบ (ถึงแม้ว่า browser จะมีระบบ auto logout เมื่อปิดหน้าต่างแต่ไม่ควรวางใจ) เพราะบางระบบเช่น IE นั้นมีฟังก์ชั่นสำหรับจดจำ password ได้อยู่ รวมไปถึงการเก็บ cookie จะต้องคอยลบออกไปทุกครั้งหลังการใช้งาน ซึ่งวิธีการลบไฟล์พวกนี้มีอยู่แล้วสามารถค้นหาจาก google และนำไปใช้ได้เลย

ข้อสำคัญ การกรอกข้อมูลใดๆ ควรที่จะตรวจสอบให้แน่ใจก่อนว่าเป็นแหล่งที่น่าเชื่อถือหรือไม่ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการดู url ของแหล่งที่มา การตรวจสอบ wording หรือแม้แต่การ view source ก็ควรจะทำ เพราะหากคุณไม่รอบคอบในการตรวจสอบในเรื่องของข้อมูลความสำคัญ ก็ไม่มีใครที่จะมาช่วยคุณได้ นอกจากตัวคุณเอง
